Teresa is originally from St. Louis, Missouri. She planned on attending the University of Louisville for graduate school and could finally see a light at the end of the tunnel of her dream. In the mean time, she decided to dedicate her summer to mission work with Family Missions Company. Teresa wanted to come home with fresh eyes, stronger faith, and a better appreciation for her life.

God clearly had different plans: he surprised Teresa with an unexpected door. During Teresa’s summer of missions, she fell in love with Jesus, with serving, and with the beautiful community of FMC. God completely destroyed her thoughts, desires, and plans and showed her His will. After lots of prayer and discernment, it was clear the Lord brought Teresa to FMC to become a full-time missionary. Praise God!
