Letter from a LifeTeen Missionary
Dearest Friends From Family Missions Company
Peace! Blessings from God our Father who in His great power raised our Lord Jesus Christ from the grave as a sign of redemption. Praise and Glory be to Him!
Ya’ll have changed my life. In God’s perfect timing he used my desires to lure my love to your family for 3 days, Inspire my heart through the witness of your missionary life and shoot me back into the heart of Houston with renewed understating of my current Missionary Vocation.
Somewhere in the busyness and disorganization of my first few months on mission in Houston, I lost sight of Christ and His people. I lost my passion and felt overwhelmed unfulfilled.
Many steps were taken back towards Christ & doing His will leading up to my visit during “Come and See,” but I would say the visit is where Christ took the kindling & formed it into a blazing fire.
Since our visit (pre-Easter), I went to a soup kitchen for two days while on break in Florida, we brought 2 teens to serve homeless men in Houston, I went to the mall to evangelize teens and invited them to youth group on my own…. My zeal in our weekly ministries has been renewed and my prayer life has seen a greater portion as I seem to fully know the one whom i proclaim.
These are just some of the fruits…
So Thank you, J., B., Frank & Genie, Eckstine Family, Teresa, Rebekah, Erika, Dolds, James, Sammy, Lindsey & Children, Sid, Weiss Family, and anyone else I’ve forgotten or did not meet. Ya’ll have changed my life.
“ Whoever is in Christ is a new creation; the old things have passed away; behold, new things have come.” 1 Corinthians 5:17
A special shout out to Annie & Bridgett Eckstine for teaching me about True Joy.
To All: I may forget your names (because God gave me a splendidly bad memory) But I will never forget you.
Thanks Again!
In the Peace of Our Risen Lord,
Mark Edward Bocinsky
