share your faith with the world.
Transform lives, restore hope, and grow the Kingdom of God.
Jesus came to seek and to save the lost, and before His Ascension, He entrusted this mission to His followers: “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit” (Matt. 28:19).
Two thousand years later, this mission remains unfulfilled. Today, there are still 3.91 billion people alive who have never heard an initial proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ!
Our Lord commissioned all of us to cooperate with Him in preaching the Gospel, so the work of mission is proper to the laity, not just to clergy and religious. And the time has come for the laity to shoulder their share of the Cross for the spread of the Gospel.
“No believer in Christ, no institution of the Church can avoid this supreme duty: to proclaim Christ to all peoples” (Pope St. John Paul II, Redemptoris missio, 3).
God has a plan to reach the world with His Gospel. And YOU have a role to play.

When you give to FMC…
You feed the hungry, give drink to the thirsty, visit the sick, and comfort the afflicted. You enable missionaries in Costa Rica to help addicts reconcile with the Lord during their recovery. You help missionaries in Peru build a place for youth to gather safely and take part in faith-building activities. You allow missionaries in Asia to speak about Jesus to a non-Christian who only knows about religions with many gods.
In short, YOU change lives. Your gift does more than you could ever imagine. A gift for missions not only impacts people around the world, but it also transforms your own heart.
“He who receives a prophet because he is a prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward, and he who receives a righteous man because he is a righteous man shall receive a righteous man’s reward. And whoever gives to one of these little ones even a cup of cold water because he is a disciple, truly, I say to you, he shall not lose his reward” (Mt. 10:41-42).
More ways to give
Gifts from Donor-Advised Funds
As a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit, FMC is eligible to receive donations from most donor-advised funds.
Planned Gifts
Bequests can be gifts of cash, securities, real estate, or personal property, typically made through a will. Learn more about how you can easily get the process started for free through our partner, FreeWill, on our Planned Giving page.
Gift of Securities
A gift of securities, either publicly traded or from a private company, may provide greater tax advantages to you than gifts of cash. Donors may deduct the current fair-market value as a charitable gift and avoid capital gains tax on the appreciation.
Matching Gifts
We encourage every donor to speak with their employer’s HR Department about available Matching Gifts Programs. Some employers even offer double-matching at certain times of the year! Your match can have the same designation as your original donation.
Other Ways to Give
You can name Family Missions Company as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy, or make a gift through a Charitable Gift Annuity, a Charitable Remainder Trust, or a Charitable Lead Trust. Frequently Asked Questions
Family Missions Company is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation. As such, all donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law. You should speak to a certified tax professional about your particular case.
Gifts totaling less than $250 in a year –
If you don’t anticipate giving $250 or more over the course of the year and wish to receive an annual summary of your giving, you may include a note requesting one with any donation you make. Once we receive any one request, you will receive an annual statement every year you donate, regardless of total, in perpetuity. If you have already donated, you may fill out the Request Tax Statement button above and we will be happy to provide you with a detailed receipt of your giving.
*Will I receive a statement at the time of donating?
FMC mails letters in response to most donations. These letters include the necessary language to deduct that particular gift from your taxes. The most common exception is if you set up an automatically recurring donation online. In these cases, you will receive a mailed letter for your initial gift and an annual statement if you donate total of $250 or more (see above) or you have requested one.
International Donors
Family Missions Company is a registered nonprofit only in the United States. If you would like to receive statements of your giving, please reach out to our team and we would be happy to oblige you!

“Then the King will say to those at his right hand, ‘Come, O blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world; for I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me. … Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brethren, you did it to me’” (Mt. 25:34-36, 40).
